Today’s theme: slow and heavy. General gives us a ride to the trail after lunch and we start walking uphill with the heaviest packs we’ve carried yet. The climb is long and fairly steep at times, but we continue to plod along. The wind picks up near the top and we get to relive the suck we had a few days ago. Luckily it’s a short day so only have an hour of heavy wind before we get to camp. We find the sites to be mostly full, but luckily Viking and his friend are there and don’t mind us cramming a tent in far closer than we normally would. With the limited space we just setup the triplex and pile in for the night.
