The storm passed through overnight and today started cold and windy. We broke camp and continued on, taking a shorter lunch break than usual while trying to stay warm. We made it to Mary’s Place mid-afternoon and caught up with a few others while Waterboy earned his namesake collecting and filtering water. Mary is a Trail Angel that maintains a much welcomed water tank. After the brief stop we made it another 3 miles before setting up camp. As we setup camp we could see clouds rolling down the hills, leading to a wet night as we basically camped in a cloud. On the bright side, we knew we were only a few miles away from our next zero in Idyllwild.

Enjoy the zero! Do you guys have a gear list you’d be willing to share?

We don’t yet but were planning to put one together. Look for a future post with it.
