We are a family of four who live in Ohio. Angela is originally from Louisiana and Andrew is originally from Kansas. Andrew and Angela met while working a summer job in Louisiana and got married 4 years later. We moved to Ohio in 2002 for Andrew to attend graduate school at The Ohio State University and now reside in the Cincinnati area. Andrew is a Materials Engineer. Angela is a counselor who has mostly been a stay-at-home mom for the last 13 years. We have two boys, Gareth (13) and Gavin (10).
Our family loves to travel and spend time in the outdoors camping and hiking. Our typical vacations include many, many hours in the car, usually headed West, for 2+ week camping trips. Several years ago we added a goal to visit as many of the 400+ National Park Sites as possible. This is now a standard part of every trip and has taken us to a lot of really interesting locations we wouldn’t have visited otherwise. We began homeschooling our boys two years ago which has given us even more time and flexibility to travel.
Andrew enjoys hiking, backpacking, fishing, soccer, and homebrewing.
Angela enjoys traveling, camping, roadtrips and napping.
Gareth enjoys reading, Dungeons and Dragons, Magic The Gathering, board games, indoor climbing, Scouting, Harry Potter, camping, and hiking .
Gavin enjoys Legos, reading, Nerf, Harry Potter, camping, hiking, indoor climbing, Cub Scouts, cute animals of all sorts and stuffed animals.
