We have been prepping meals for the PCT. Our current plan is a mixture of purchased meals and meals we make before we hit the trail. Once on the trail we will also be purchasing things as we go. We have read the advice of many people that say not to send too much food to yourself because it is likely you will tire of that food. We hope our current plan will allow for more variety and also some flexibility. Tonight Andrew is boiling pasta to dehydrate it. I am removing the skins off of Garbanzo beans. My fingers are shriveled from the task and look like I have just come out of a long bath. Of course it could also look as though the trail has aged me many years already 🙂 This preparation can be tedious and a bit boring but Andrew always finds a way to make me laugh while we are doing the most boring tasks.
